This is odd. This evening when I went to update my Excel folding records I saw an odd message for Team "appepi" (243941), which (unless I am imagining things) was founded by "appepi".

Team was founded by Gilthanis and has earned 4,123,617,610 points by contributing 30,940 work units

So I went to the Teams page and looked up 243941 and sure enough, the Founder was shown as this mysterious intruder "Gilthanis". Who was also shown as the founder of other teams, not Team 1 (Pande Lab, which oddly enough shows no founder at all) but Teams 2 and 243942 for example.

So I tried to reset the password so as to get an email - which the team database has correctly - and it failed on lost connection to the database.

But then when I looked up the stats again to copy the message, the message is now:

Team was founded by and has earned 4,123,617,610 points by contributing 30,940 work units

And when I checked before submitting this it said

Team was founded by appepi and has earned 4,123,861,145 points by contributing 30,941 work units.

He is a trusted member of team 33, who required ownership of team 33 after the long absence of the previous owner.

Likely the admin who helped us in this transfer met some issues in between. Good to see it is resolved for your team!

Might be server freaking out or something. As Nicolas said, Gilthanis received an ownership permission for team 33
