Hi,

i run since 2020 an Fahclient on a very old hardware & linux, hardware just updgraded since a few day
My current FAHclient executable is from 2020 (Fahcore_a8) , OS has been updated, but FAHclient never since 2020!
i have no team, just a donor name
With this name, i get get my stat, and web client (https://client.foldingathome.org/ ) is working fine

I would like to upgrade this old stuff, and keep my current account, but as my initial mail does not exist anymore (if i set one in 2020, i don't remenber ...) , i'm not able to access the team info and change anything on it (https://apps.foldingathome.org/team) or generate any passkey

Maybe an admin can help ?

v7 does not have accounts.

If you still have the v7 config.xml, you should be able to upgrade to v8 and any user, team, passkey should be picked up.

If you are a team owner and lost your access, maybe someone else can help.

Email, which you used for passkey (if you were using it back in 2020) can be different on what you would use for current (new) fah account. As long as you have the passkey (this is not your password nor passphrase), know your old username, and team number (or name, from which we can help you find out the team number), you can continue using your old username, continue receiving points for that username and team.
The main thing is passkey+username combo which is tied to your stats. If one of them is missing or incorrect, points will start accumulating for the different user
