New to F@H, interested in joining the project. Unfortunately, the "v7 installation guide" link in the v8.4 user guide leads to a broken page. No page errors, but the area where the guides should be is blank. Specifically, the page loads as normal with the menu bar, the sidebar, and the "Installation Guides" header, but the space beneath the header is completely blank. Any advice?

There may be a broken link somewhere, could you tell hoe you got to that download page? Oh, and the url of the broken page itself. I won't be able to fix it, but someone will.

When you go to https://foldingathome.org/, then select Download from the top menu items, there's a link to the guide, https://foldingathome.org/start-folding/

V8 is the latest fahclient, so v7 has been put to the side and is being phased out.
V8 has an installation guide.

The v8 guide has a link to v7 installation, which leads to a faq page with no content.

It should probably point to https://foldingathome.org/guides/
Or https://foldingathome.org/guides/v7-client-guides/

Installation
The v8 client can run on Windows, macOS, Linux and ARM Linux. The install procedure for v8 is essentially the same as for the v7 client, with the exception that on Linux you now only need to install the fah-client package. V8 specific install instructions have yet to be written. For now, please consult to the v7 install guides.
