Merging with my old (pre-passkey) account?

Hi everyone,
I contributed a lot of compute back in 2020, back when anyone could simply fill in any username and use it to track their points. It seems things have grown more controlled since then.
I'm wondering how I can possibly merge this new account I've created (ericdand, same as my forum username) with my old profile (same name) which has millions of points, so I can keep my "high scores" from before.
Can anyone help me to merge my old account into my new one (or vice versa)?
Thanks,
Eric

If the old "account" was with passkey, use that pass key.
Pre v8 usernames were not accounts. Usernames were tied to the passkey.
v8 account is just an account to the client, you can enter your old username and old passkey when creating a v8 account and your points should continue counting

Thanks for the reply, muziqaz.
I have already retrieved my old passkey by filling in my username and email into the recovery page, and I got an email from
noreply@foldingathome.org with the passkey.
However, when I enter this passkey into my client, I now appear on the "Stats" page as an "Unranked Ranked Donor" ("Unranked Ranked," eh?

) with 0 points earned, 0 WIs completed, and 0 active clients within 7 days. Furthermore, points I earn do not seem to increment the points count of my account. This is what led me to believe that I had created a second account by accident, and thus needed to have them merged.
Here's the donor page for my account:
https://stats.foldingathome.org/donor/id/71410545
However, looking at my local client, I see that, in fact, the "ericdand" linked from the "Stats" page
does point to this same page. I also see in F@H documentation that usernames are unique, and so it should not be possible to have two accounts by the same name. So I must indeed have only one passkey and account!
So if the passkey that was sent to me is truly my old passkey, and I've only got one account, then
the client seems broken.
Symptoms:
- My client shows 0 points.
- Points I earn are not added to my account.
Any tips? Is this a known issue?

client sometimes needs time to catch up with new developments, like you adding your old passkey to your username

Which documentation are you looking at? Usernames are not unique as they were never registered. It just happens in this case that the username you are using is unique. However in my case I know 3 other persons have in the past used the same username as I use and did so at same time I was folding.
An account created through the v8 client on the folding website should be unique. It can be configured to use a particular username and passkey. I believe the token created when you register for an account through the v8 client is unique. Before only the passkey was unique and assigned to the pair of username and email used to request one. Use a different email or username and you get a different passkey sent. You do not need to use the passkey with the same username as used to request the passkey.
Known issues with the stats system include it being slow to update at times, may timeout on requests as well. In addition the developer has been doing updates so it works better with the v8 client and web control, that has left it not always working with the v7 client and controls. There are some other API issues being worked on. Most recently usernames with unicode characters were getting WU credit assigned to Anonymous, that was fixed. But API lookups of usernames with unicode characters will get fixed in a future update.
