The official FAQ currently says that ATI GPUs get half the performance of NVIDIA GPUs

https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/flops/ says:
Why are the ATI x86 FLOP numbers half of the ATI native FLOP numbers?
Due to a difference in the implementation (in part due to hardware differences), the ATI code must do two force calculations where the x86, Cell, and NVIDIA hardware need only do one. This increases the overall native FLOP count for ATI hardware, but since these are not useful FLOPS in a sense, we did not include them in the x86 count.
Hopefully this is just out of date, and should be removed. If it's still true, "ATI" should be updated to "AMD." (And if it's still true, then that's a bummer.)

The "Contact Us" page sent me to this forum; can someone get in touch with whoever should update that FAQ page?

Also, if that bit is out of date, maybe it's worth checking if the rest of that FLOPS FAQ page is up to date, since it's linked from a moderately prominent page https://stats.foldingathome.org/os

One more thing:
Is " https://www.reddit.com/r/Folding/ " an official subreddit for Folding@home ?

No, that is not connected in any official manner to F@h. The official one was https://www.reddit.com/r/foldingathome/, the former director of F@h Dr. Pande started it partly as an alternate, trial method of being in contact with persons contributing to the F@h projects. That has since just ended, and that reddit was locked to new posts at one point. Somehow about a year ago people could post to it, don't know what is up with that.

The reddit you asked about I think was started by some folding team, went inactive, and then got taken over by some others. But not certain of the details as I didn't follow that one much.
