one computer paused other cant find folding@home

I have been using my desk top full time for over a year and my laptop for about 6 months. Today when i went to check the D/T and tried to open F@H it reported cant find server. Internet connection is working fine. laptop reports " paused" and even restarting get no way to unpause.
Does anyone have a suggestion as to what might be wrong. D/T did a win10 update recently as did the laptop.
