We have issues:

It appears this has a 32 bit OS, Nvidia has dropped support for 32 bit Windows OSes. Here is a 64 bit driver

I am unclear if a 64 bit Windows 10 will run F@H in 2 gig of RAM

Your current 32 bit driver is very old, yet seems to be the last supported 32 bit driver

While it meets all the prerequisites to fold ( OpenCL 1.2 or better and 64 bit floating point math) it may be too slow to complete Work Units even running 24/7.

Yeah, [it's a work PC] the HDD came with an 32bit installation of Windows 7. I downloaded the latest 32bit drivers from Nvidias site. I was hoping to avoid a fresh install of Windows, but is it your opinion that that is the only way forward?

The only way to get the P400 to be usable for folding will be to install a 64-bit OS, either Windows or Linux. The 2 GB of RAM will be tight, some WUs can take more than that during various stages of processing. An ample swap file can make up for some of that, but 4 GB of RAM would be better.

The Quadro P400 has about 2/3 of the processing power as the GT 1030. Currently that is about the minimum processor that will process almost all WUs from the various projects within the timeout when run 24 hours a day. So there will be projects the P400 can complete, but others will will take longer.

Maybe I'll try to salvage some more RAM from another work PC XD. I tried running the latest edition of UBUNTU but I immediately got an error [ kernel bug or something of that sorts] and I have no experience with LINUX.

That ain't an option, the only reason it was still kept around (thrown under a rack of files) is because they do not know if the have any useful files on the second HDD.
They didn't even care that I said, that I'll take it home for a few days.

One tool to 'see inside' your PC is called Speccy.

if you keep insisting you want the free version, you can see the specs on the existing RAM, and the number of free slots, without taking it apart.
When you click on RAM, it should show you the number of slots and the number of free slots you could add RAM to.
Lower down under SPD, you may find the technical specs of your existing RAM like Max Bandwidth PC3-12800 (800 MHz) in my system.
Then you would want to make sure the RAM you were looking at was also PC3 and was at least as fast as 12800.
I am not sure what your specs are, but that is a clue for Windows without opening the case.

64 bits OS is mandatory for FAH. Windows 10 64 bits should work with 2 GB of RAM, but the system will struggle with some big work units running on FAH ... I have a system with 4 GB and a GPU, and it is fine as long as it dedicated to FAH.

I consider 4 GB of RAM as a minimum for GPU folding.

The only "interesting" thing in this system is the GPU, so you could also pull the GPU out of this machine and use it in your own one. The CPU won't do anything useful on FAH ...
