Projects: 780, 781, 784, 785

During the past 3 days I have been given one of each of the subject projects on 4 different CPU's. None of them are listed in the current running projects page. I can only find a reference to them on "All Folding@home projects" page.

But the "All Folding@home projects" page does not give the point value for any of them.

Where can I get the point values for the subject work units?

These are all beta WUs which you probably shouldn't be getting. They're all worth 565 points.

It works better when you mention sending the PM in your post. ;)

These projects were doing well, so were released out of beta on the linux side. He wasn't sure why these are not in Psummary yet, but should be corrected shortly.

Don't want to be overly complaining, but as of three weeks later they are still not present in Psummary ;)

BTW a guy of my team has problem uploading WU 784 to its Work Server. Considering serverstat message (171.64.122.138 VSP71 - full DOWN) I can see why, and perhaps this is also a reason why these WU's are not listed in the statistics.

Hi there,

I will check with Del. He probably knows about this and he is taking a little longer to check stuff before he publish it on Psummary.
Soon.

Cheers,
paula

Hi,
The server that gives these WU was moved to a different location, I'll have it up ASAP. As for psummary, that should be fixed when the server comes back up. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

Thanks for your cooperation ;)

EDIT July 30th: waiting WU's accepted - problem solved. Thanks again (even if psummary still remains in a coma :))

Excuse me if this is the wrong place to ask.

Project: 784 (Run 9, Clone 86, Gen 2)

Completed 310708 out of 500000 steps (62%)

That's as far as it gets, it just ticks on for hours with Timered checkpoint triggered.

May I note that I'm in the UK, that we're a week or so from the end of Summer Time (we go from GMT+1 to GMT) and .fah is showing an hour slow - it didn't do that when I started. I can see ways in which that could put a unit into a loop.

Linux / Slackware 12.1 / KDE, running in Konsole, not as a service.

If I need to abandon it, what do I delete to pick up a replacement unit and get restarted?

I deleted the content of work/ and restarted, got a different unit and it's looping too. The time display's an hour out still as well.

I'll re-install. Nobody else has seen this?

The client displays time in GMT/UTC format.

Is something else using a lot of your CPU, or is the FahCore_xx task still getting nearly one full cpu?

If a WU makes progress for a while and then hangs (looping), we need to know about it. Please post FAHlog.txt showing the beginning of the WU up through where the problem is evident.
