Got 2 gpu's stalled trying to get assignments from this server. Tried reboot and they got assigned to it again and have been stalled for several hours waiting for an assignment.

When posted assign rate was 4.00 per hour, now its down to 0.00 per hour.

The right people have been alerted, but nothing might move until Monday ...

Don't know if anyone can answer this or not, but I'm going to ask anyway.

Why did this happen to only 1 of my pc"s? It effected all 4 gpu's ranging from a 1070 up to a 2080 on this one pc only. Never effected any of my other 3 pc's at all.

Second question.

Why didn't it start directing this 1 pc to another assignment server.

I guess it might be related to an update on this specific system ... did it solve by itself ? Did a reboot help ?

Looked at server status before I rebooted and it had gotten up to 48.0 per hour but none were coming my way as all 4 of my gpu's were stalled. I rebooted and all 4 picked up wu's immediately from other servers.

I hope all is well. Similar to the original poster I have one GPU slot down since yesterday evening since it cannot obtain work from this server 140.163.4.200. I don't receive responses from this address when I ping it.

My other GPU slot is using 207.53.233.146 without issues. Can the server 140.163.4.200 be checked if its online, please? Thanks for your time.

According to the server status page, it's up and assigning ... but it's low on jobs.

P.S : servers at MSKCC don't answer to pings/ICMP requests. You can check if you can access it by connecting to http://140.163.4.200:8080/ with your web bowser ...
