Running M1 MacBook Air with MacOS 11.4; Client has been productive until Jun 14. Several restarts of both the machine and the client have not resolved the issue. No changes in internet, connectivity otherwise uninterrupted. Possible that the Jun 14 date coincided with my upgrade to MacOS 11.4, but I have not been able to absolutely confirm this yet. Could not retrieve log file using FAHControl, but was able to open the log.txt via Finder. Contents below. Please advise on possible next steps. Going to suggest a couple of things

1). reinstall OpenCL, the GPU will need it to do anything for FAH.
2). backup your config.xml file, remove the FAHClient and re-install it, restore the config.xml as needed

Using Activity Monitor does the FAHClient process show as running? That needs to be running in the background for there to be something that FAHControl or Web Control can connect to.

It is possible the 11.4 update changed some permissions or network connectivity, I haven't looked at its release notes.

Good Afternoon All, I did a "last" within terminal and saw that it was possible that I had not restarted after the client failed originally. MacOS 11.4 was installed 6/14/2021 at 11:15 am ET according to System Information (option apple menu, installation 'tab'), using terminal (using the last command) it appeared that I was within the same login session as was in place during the original client failure occurred. So, I restarted the MacOS (under 11.4) today and it is now running again. The chronology was as follows: upgraded to 11.4, logged in, started FAH, it failed on the first boot into 11.4, but it did not fail on the second boot into 11.4. Thank you for your responsiveness!
