RX 480 trade with Nvidia

Good afternoon folders, does anyone have a GTX 780 ti folding in his/hers system? I would like to know the realistic power draw and PPD of the card, since I was thinking of trading my RX 480 for an Inno3D iChill GTX 780 Ti HerculeZ X3 Ultra.
According to FOLDING.LAR.SYSTEMS an RX 480 was a PPD of 360K at 225W, but I'm getting that PPD for an avg of 92W with my Gaming X

The GTX 780 ti should only be slightly slower than your RX 480 in theory
5.345 TFLOPS vs 5.834 TFLOPS
It will draw about twice as much wattage.
250 watts vs your 92 watts
Whoever is offering to trade should be throwing in a lot of money as well.

FOLDING.LAR.SYSTEM shows the 780ti being in a 200k PPD lead over the rx 480.
Also the RX 480 is rated for 150W, but has never pulled such a number during folding.
++Plus my card has a defect, 1 broken fin(out of 14) on the right fan/no box/no warranty.
Still think I should ask him for money?

I've been looking around the web and the 500K shown on Lar.Systems seems to be waaaaay off. Like 200K off. But every discussion was about older cores. Could performance have gotten better over time?

So another day, and I need your opinion fellow forum users.
Last week bought a 4 year old MSI GAming X RX 480 4GB with a broken fin, for 100€, a good price given the current GPU situation.

Since then I've been folding during the day, cause the imbalanced fan, rattles a lot, and I can't have the pc running during the night, since the pc is right next to my bed.
All that time I've been looking for a trade with an Nvidia card, in order to use the CUDA advantage, trying to achieve better efficiency and avoid having to buy replacement fans.(the card is a hassle to open up without a screwdriver with magnetic tips - which I do not have)
I now have two offers.
1) A GTX 970 4GB Gainward Phoenix, which have been kept clean and haven't had heavy use, according to the seller, but can't be proven until I test the card on my own. The seller has no reviews and seems to be a photographer.
2) A GTX 1050 2GB Asus Phoenix + 90€ from the other party. The seller has a 99% positive rating with 280 sales and claims the card has seen only mild gaming use, playing DOTA 2 in 2K.

Given the above info, chart and the stats from FOLDING.LAR.SYSTEMS, which of the 2 cards would you guys say I should choose?

It is indeed, but it is also twice as power hungry. I am more concerned about efficiency as opposed to raw performance/power.
More over the 1050 will have, in essence, cost me 10 Euros to acquire. I do not have enough data, or I am unable to piece em together,
in order to find the best cost to performance, because electricity here is 0,18E per kWh. So, apart from the up front cost of the GPU I would
like to choose the one with the lowest cost per 1m points, since overtime the gap in cost may widen.

You always can undervolt the 970. Thus it also will be cooler, quieter, and live longer. If the cost is the same, I would go with the more performing one.
I also would take possible additional costs into account, such as a real good cleanup (with the necessary tool) and new thermal pads. Albeit for this it shouldn't make a difference which card you end up buying.

You should have changed the other one while you were at it

Maybe, I already have the spare part, but as long as it runs, I keep it as this.

Yeah, if noise isn't a concern, I bet that's the best course of action. If I can't manage to trade my card after all, I'm thinking of just snapping the blade opposed to the one already missing

That way the fan will be balanced again.

That's probably what I would do.
