I figured that this project was a really worthwhile project so I signed up. But I should have read the Forum Boards first! With the equipment being discussed my two little 3.00 MHZ machines would get lost in the shuffle!! LOL

Yes, this is all about the power of combining many machines.

Did I say MHZ? Meant GHZ! Sorry about that. Oh well, back to the other shared program I have. It is not so demanding as to hardware. They seem to accept what you have.

I'm still folding with a 1.8 GHz PIII and a 2.8 GHz P4. FAH does accept what you have.

I've been using a 2.2GHz AMD 3500+ for 18mths now, goes alrite. Used to pull 800 points/week or so, bit less now (different projects goin round?) but yeh get the 3GHz puppies goin.

Hmm I've got one Athlon XP 2800+ running (and on some of the current AMBER WUs, its doing slightly faster than my OCed C2D (1 core) )

I still run F@H on a couple P3/766 MHz machines. The P3/550 went off line a few months ago...
