Are we experiencing shortages again by any chance?
I have a 3070 sitting idle with "Failed to get assignment from..." all 4 assignment servers

Looks like you folks depleted all our GPU WUs! I'm astounded, to be frank.
I've added a bit more WUs to 13428-9 to firm up our statistics on COVID Moonshot Sprint 5 until we have Sprint 6 and new antibody simulations ready to go in a couple of days.

Great, thank you John.
I wonder if it is in part due to the new GPU's being quite a bit faster than the previous gen? Even though they are difficult to get hold of there must be quite a few out there Folding.

AFAICT, there are about 4 3xxx cards in the wild and maybe a couple of 6xxx cards
Seriously, a major UK online retailer for this stuff had 26 6800 cards for the launch yesterday and a couple of hundred 3060ti. Insane how limited the stocks are.

All I can say is my 6 NVidia GPU's amd 1 AMD iGPU are ready to keep processing Sprint WU's as they become available.

Hahaha, well I have 2x3070's and a 2080 Super Folding full time so I notice it WU's aren't available. My office gets colder.

Has the shortage issue been addressed? If demand greatly outweighs supply, I'm not gonna resume folding again till it's more balanced. I stopped earlier this year because my computer was literally sitting and doing nothing for majority of the time. Electricity is really expensive here...

I've just brought my 16-core 3950X CPU online tonight.... So I'll take a little bit of blame for CPU WU shortages at the moment.

found just 1 dry CPU slot... I think it was just stuck to a 130.* server for about 2 or 3 hrs. Not a stuck download tho, as it would still keep retrying per the countdown. It just wouldnt try another server until I rebooted, which grabbed a WU from a 18.*
FAH ver 7.6.13, so maybe .21 does it better, i dunno
other machines on .13 are doing fine

I have had to pull both of my Ryzen 3950X's (Ubuntu 18.04.5) off due to lack of CPU work in the last 24 hours.

No CPU shortages here

I might have better luck at the small core counts. I think they have a different pool of work units.
But those machines are on Ubuntu 20.04 for me. They need to get FAH working on that, while we are on the subject.

I'm out CPU work units, all four assignment servers say "No WUs available for this configuration". One cpu slot with 8-cores on fedora linux.

My Ryzen 3950X is also starving for WU's.

I thought my computer was unable to get a WU as well on my simple 4 core desktop:
18:05:19:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from 'assign1.foldingathome.org:80': No WUs available for this configuration
I restarted the app, and work unit started up immediately, so I don't know if it's a coincidence that solved it, or more units were made available.
Also notice every couple days work units won't send, restart computer, and they seem to send. So I assume the problem is on my end, but just wanted to throw it out there just in case it's on Folding @ Home's end and other people are experiencing it.
