7.6.20 Control in Ubuntu 18.04 GPU Index Settings Missing

Not sure if anyone else had this problem, but I tried using the new version 7.6.20 Client and Control in Ubuntu and the UI seemed broken. I could add a GPU slot, but there were no options at all to specify the GPU index or Open CL indices. Thus on my AMD Socket FM1 build, it kept trying to fold on the integrated GPU instead of the 1660 Ti, since I couldn't even see the box to set the GPU Index to 1 instead of 0. Any idea where this functionality went? I went back to the 7.5.1 version and the index settings were there, so I am back up and running...

Version 7.6.20 has moved from using GPU Index values to using PCI bus and slot numbers instead. Testers reported that installs over older versions usually converted the GPU slots correctly, sometimes it took restarting the client a couple of times.
If you do try the new version again and run into problems, post the log here and someone who has gone through this problem should be able to help.

The index values were unreliable and have been replaced in v*.20 I still have to learn how to use the replacement, which is based on the bus and slot numbers.
The fact that you're trying to adjust the index values is the problem which SUPPOSEDLY has been fixed.
Like Joe said, post the top of your log.

<pci-bus v='1'/>
<pci-slot v='2'/>
Extract these two values from the GPU identification string after the "GPUs: 2" line at the top of your log. Does that help?
In some cases you may need to leave the gpu-index setting there.
I would not categorize this release of V*.20 as clean. V *.13 is probably still in you downloads folder or trash bin.
This version relocates the FAHData directory. If you've got unfinished WUs being processed by *13 or earlier, it does not move them so you should probably do a FINISH before installing *.20
