Uploads failing/taking ages

Just recently (last 48 hours-ish) I have been getting a large number of upload attempt failures and/or extremely slow uploads. Often it can take ten minutes or more to send the file and that is enough, with a fast system, to significantly reduce the points (and therefore, presumably the usefulness) allocated to the job. I'm guessing it's just overloaded servers but is there anything I can do to help things along?

blow down the pipe?
(seriously, no, probably not. It's just life. Never ideal and often very frustrating.)

The only thing that you can do is to leave the client running and it will eventually upload the WU. If a day has passed, then see what the IP address is and match it to the Server Status (
https://apps.foldingathome.org/serverstats). If there's an existing topic that has been recently updated, check the last few posts to see if there's any update about acknowledgement or next steps. If none, post there and hopefully, it will be noticed, reported and resolved

Thanks PantherX, that was more or less what I thought. It's much less of a problem today, so I suspect it was just a server overload that has been fixed or my clients are now not using. The three primary folding PCs are all on and F@h client running, 24x7.
By the way, the supply of WUs now seems to be much more regular and my GPUs are seldom short of work these days. Well done to the team!
