MSI Afterburner displaying low GPU Usage?

I learned from the various sites i visited that folding@home uses CUDA cores for the GPU, and MSI Afterburner can be used to check the usage, but when i go one Afterburner the graph is zero?

The better way to check GPU load is GPU Z.
Your image does not load, so cannot say what is going on. But try GPU Z :)

P.S. I had an issue with my GPU and Folding@Home previously before, folding@home didnt recognize it. Is it possible fahcore not utilizing it whole power correctly? Just guessing.

Could you click on GPU slot to activate it and take a screenshot. And while you are at it, if you could click on System Info tab in fahcontrol, and scroll down to System section and take screenshot as well

Please post your logs and someone might be able to assist … be sure to include the first 100 lines or so which includes the configuration and the current WUs from download … for help on posting logs please see viewtopic.php?f=61&t=26036

How many GPUs do you have?
Try setting the slider to full in FAHControl.

I think the reason it isn't working properly may be because my CPU cant keep up with it, or it is because i have a virus mining on my pc without my knowledge. When setting up the GPU slot i left everything at default.

Turns out it takes to long to upload.
The CPU graph was erratic, fluctuating a lot, about every 200 ms and fluctuating between 20% and 100%. Do you guys think that should happen or do i have a kryptominer to sweep (Yes, i have the software for that)?

Your client seems to be trying to do two cpu units.

FS00 is doing unit 0 which it says is an a7 unit which is a cpu and it's trying to use 9 cores.
FS01 is doing unit 1 which it says is an a7 unit which is a cpu and it's trying to use 1 core.

Your system hasn't been able to download a gpu unit as far as I can tell so the gpu is idle. There is a shortage of work but ...

It also appears to be a 32-bit Windows 10. Is that right?

I have a feeling that the gpu can't fold on a Windows 32-bit OS but someone else will be able to chip in with that.

It seems its trying to fold on Intel GPU.
In Fahcontrol, go to Configure, click on Slots Tab, then select GPU slot, and click Edit.
GPU-Index write 1
CUDA-Index also write 1

Save everything. Slot will dump the WU which being folded by GPU slot, and hopefully will download GPU project

You go to a lot of work not to tell us about your PC, but the GPU-Z shot admits you have a GTX 1050 ti and you have 32 bit Windows 10, I think

This is the latest and last 32 bit driver for your card.

Without the first 200 lines of your log I can't tell if you already run that.

I would Remove one CPU slot , Add one GPU slot. Reboot then post the log.

In the taskbar to the lower right of the screen, you should see a F@H molecule icon, click it (you may need to click an Up Arrow to see it ^)

The second item in this menu is Advanced Control, click it

On this screen to the left is a Configure button, click it

Now you get a screen with a Slots tab, click it

On this white field should be two cpu items, click one and then click Remove.

Now click Add and on this screen click the GPU radio Button so it is a GPU slot.

If at all possible show us the configuration portion of the log.

JimboPalmer, he has one CPU and one GPU slot. Problem is, his automatic GPU add configured intel integrated GPU instead of 1050ti. His fahlog shows, that Intel unsupported iGPU is recognized as GPU 0, thus it gets priority when fahclient automatically configures slot first time installing.

It is a 64 bit Windows 10 Home. My laptop is the MSI GF63 8RD.
Sorry for late response. Have school.
Will try changing the indices values from default to 1. Will say if it worked.

After doing that my changing the GPU Index to 1 and the CUDA Index to 1 my GPU is still having the same problems :( .

Stop looking at the win 10 32 bit parts that appear above ***system***. Look below were it says

11:27:26:        OS Arch: AMD64
11:27:26:           GPUs: 2

That's the user's os. AMD64 indicates 64 bit. The windows 10 home is obvious.
