Crashing on GPU

Hi.
I have been having this issue for the past few days now.
I use to be able to fold with my GTX1080 with no issues(assuming I could get a WU)
But lately I have been having non stop crashes once a WU is downloaded.
I have done troubleshooting myself but I am now stuck as to what the problem could be.
I have uninstalled the nVidia driver using Display Driver Uninstaller.
I have installed the following drivers but still get the same issue.
442.50, 442.59(this is what I had when everything was working), 442.74, 445.87
I have run a stress tests on my GPU and all of them come up fine.
I have no issues in game what so ever.
Yet I still get the same crash
I have tried setting the GPU index to 0 as well as keeping it on -1
Left the OpenCL Index and Cuda Index to -1

My PC specs
CPU: i5 6600K @ 4.5Ghz
GPU: Geforce GTX1080
RAM: 32GB @ 3200Mhz

Welcome to the F@H Forum Gray_fox,

Have you considered uninstalling F@H including the option to delete the data file and then install it again?

If you do that and still have issues, please post the first 100 lines from the log file. Guidance is here if needed: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

Please note that folding is much more intensive than gaming. If your GPU is overclocked (factory or manual), then consider running it on Nvidia stock frequencies to see if it folds or not.

Yes, I have uninstalled the client using the delete data option as well.
I have also re-installed the 7.5 client.

I know the newer 7.6 client wont fix this issue but I upgraded to the newer client
I have also removed the GPU slot and re-added it after restarting the client.

GPU clocks are stock for my card, I have even under clocked the card and the issue still happens.
My system is all water cooled, so temperatures are not an issue

If your work\ directory survives after the crash, can you see if there is a science.log buried in there, and if so, post the contents?

This is a Tree output of %appdata%/FAHClient/Work
There 00 is the CPU slot and the 01 is the GPU slot.
There is no science.log file with in the GPU slot folder.
Dont know what the 01 directory in the 00 directory would relate too.
But looking at the science.log file it looks like it is for the CPU slot

| science.log
|
\---01
        wudata_01.dat
I have even deleted both cores to let the client redownload them.

It would related to the Work Queue ID found in FAHControl.

Thinking it might be incompatible drivers.
I uninstalled the driver 445.87, to install 442.19 which made the client not even detect the GPU.
Reinstalled 445.87, client detected GPU and now its working.

Thanks for all the help, dont know what was wrong.
But glad its working.
