I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 in one computer. In configure GPU is selected. All options are left at -1 and this GPU shows in both Web control and Client Advanced Control. I am interested in Covid research and the designated research is "Any disease".

Although it shows in the web control as GPU:0:GP104 and says ready, I have never seen it working on a WU, it remains at 0(0,0,0) Work Units and estimated points is 0. The "sphere" which is green on the 6 cores are green and showing rotation, the GPU sphere is always orange with no activity.

I have the latest NVidea drivers for this card but nada. Any suggestions for what I can do to get Coronavirus WUs working with the GPU?

I'm new here but look at the log tab in the Advanced control, sometimes you'll have things like this:

02:45:56:WARNING:WU02:FS01:Failed to get assignment from '18.218.241.186:80': No WUs available for this configuration
02:45:56:ERROR:WU02:FS01:Exception: Could not get an assignment

There is a shortage of GPU assignments sometimes, for instance I got 3 today, with 4 hours between the last 2, whereas I always get CPU ones right away. This is also alluded to here: viewtopic.php?f=61&t=33193 and viewtopic.php?f=61&t=34581.

Can you please post your log file? Ensure that you have copied the System configuration which is present at the start of the log file: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036
