NoGPU WUs for nearly two weeks

I know the servers are under heavy load, but since my best folding component (1080 Ti) is getting no work, and I found an excellent deal on a Titan Xp that is on the way, I thought I would follow the instructions for posting my log, and see if others can clue me in as to any problem settings etc.
Thanks in advance for any hints you can provide.

I'm in the fight, and just want to land more blows, is all. So far, I'm up to 1.7 million points (4 regular PCs folding), but all on on CPU and daytime residential power. :shock:

Right here you should have a line about OpenCL, and you don't.

Lets have you re-install the latest driver direct from Nvidia

https://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/159091

Once that installs, please post your log again so we can see if OpenCL took.

Not as important, but if you set verbosity to 3, it will be much easier to read your log.

I hear you !! … my own fault really for just running CPU slots … and tbh I am just ignoring my electricity bill and hoping it will go away!!

My Xeons are nice and solid get me 250k ppd, but do require a fair bit of juice to run - I pretend I just have a somewhat noisy heater with no off switch.

Fingers crossed the GPU community gets a flow of WUs soon.

Good-bye NVidia 3D Vision, which is what had me clinging to an old driver. My bad. Relegated to dual booting in Win7, then.

Back to business: As I understand it, log looks good, though no magical instant GPU WU, which is what I knew not to expect and was nonetheless, like, totally rooting for.

Applied same fix to all machines and now have my GTX 980 folding this morning. The GTX 1080 Ti flirted with a WU and dropped it, but at least there is some action.

Gonna take this here virus head on!!

The failure of the WU and the message are two different events and not at all co-related.

The failure of the WU could be due to hardware issues, it being a bad WU or a random glitch.

The message printed as an attempt from an earlier FahCore to ensure that a single Nvidia GPU would not exceed a certain temperature. However, it wasn't fully deployed in production and that message wasn't removed.
