I have installed the freshest version of the FAH client (7.5.1). It never started folding. I repeatedly get the error message "Failed reading core package header".
It's possible to download Core_a7.fah manually. The download size is 7,038,080 bytes.

Welcome to the F@H Forum karsten.wolff,

By chance do you have any firewall, anti-virus, anti-malware, etc applications on your system?

Yes, there is a company firewall and an anti-virus check. Anti-virus gave no alarm (I also checked the logs) and fahclient.exe is registered in the firewall configuration. All connections (TCP/UDP) are allowed for it (domain, private and open networks).
Manual download of Core_a7.fah with a browser or curl (command line) is successful.
Can I save Core_a7.fah somewhere that it is automatically processed by the fahclient?

If you can get the FahCore_a7, then the path on your system would be:
E:\ProgramData\FAHClient\cores\cores.foldingathome.org\Win32\AMD64\AVX\Core_a7.fah\FahCore_a7.exe
