GPU WUs taking 5-6 days making sense

Hi, I have started F@H a while ago with my 3 machines working pretty much 24/7. One of them is Lenovo Z580 laptop with a Nvidia 320M GPU, which to my big surprise does get WUs rather regularly. However, the 320M is not a powerhouse and it takes usually somewhere between 5 and 6 days to complete a WU. I haven't exceeded any deadlines so far, but I'm wondering whether this long processing time would hold up the project as other WUs might depend on completion of the WU my GPU is busy with. Would it be better for the project to disable the GPU slot or is any help appreciated no matter how close to the deadline the result is returned?

I would say, yes, otherwise they'd have set a different deadline. ;)
For the first time in a while, there seems to be enough WUs to hand out, at least I haven't seen my PC idle in days.
And there's no way of telling how long the WU would have "sat around" on the WS otherwise.

In theory, neither of these cards should fold. If i had to guess you have the GT 320m, not the 320m.

The GT 320m is a Tesla device with (only) 24 shaders and SinglePrecision only. You shouldn't be able to fold with it.

Yes, you are quite correct.
The card in my laptop folds because its a GT630M. I was reading about older hardware and got it mixed up with the GT320M in an Acer laptop I once had many years ago.
