Radeon HD 6570 not connecting

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

Radeon HD 6570 not connecting

Post by Sven2186 »

Log shows attempting to connect to 192.0.2.1 ports 8080 and 80, connection fails. I have read similar posts and the issue may be my how my device is identified and it is unable to pull WUs. I am running an AMD Radeon HD6750 PCI id: 1002-6759 from GPU-Z. I have attempted removing the slot and readding it as well as connection resets and computer restart. Please advise if I can get this up an running. I know its not a lot of power but every bit helps.

The HD 6570 is no longer supported for GPU folding. It does not support Double Precision calculations that are needed for a small part of the WU processing.

You can still contribute by doing folding on your system's CPU.

You can see no Double Precision floating point math.
