Hello,

I'm new so excuse me If I am wrong but I don't seem to be earning any points.

My CPU finished only 1 project and now It's idle. My GPU is working.

But even tough my CPU finished 1 project I still have 0 points.



I close my computer overnight, could that be the problem? Because last night when I clicked Stop Folding It asked me If I wanted to wait for the project to finish then stop.

Correct me If I got the system wrong, thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I suspect that the CPU is waiting for more work and is sometimes unable to get workunits from the server. The servers are under very high load from all the new users and I'd recommend leaving everything running and it will pick up work in time. The research teams are getting more servers online and more projects into the queue, so it should settle out in time. See viewtopic.php?f=61&t=33193 and viewtopic.php?f=61&t=32424

Thanks for your reply, both my CPU and GPU had "projects" which they finished, stats show I currently finished 2 WUs. On the web control the estimated points are 30,000. But I receive only 2% of the estimated points. I currently gained 1,100 points.

Where do you seeing those numbers?

Also, the stats page updates periodically maybe once or twice a day, so it might be a little bit before they show up.

… and if those were your 1st two WUs then the estimated points (which include QRB) will only "kick in" once you have returned 10 WUs …https://foldingathome.org/support/faq/points/ … until then you will earn base points which are significantly lower.

For the estimated points, I see them at Web Control.
