Hi and welcome to the forum!
Is the client software running in general? When your computer is being used, the software should say "Paused" to show that the calculations are not actively running. Do you see that?

Welcome to Folding@Home!
In Windows, Idle is when the screen save turns on. If it never does, it never thinks you are idle.
In the control panel, search for Power to set the Screen saver time.
(While you are there, turn off sleep when on Power)

Oh I see, my screen saver is currently set to 10 hours. I'll try if changing the time to a lower one helps.
