did Fah stop using as it became too hot? I saw this yesterday, 1 gpu 79 degrees, other idle was 41. Reboot & idle re-started, monitored for hour or two, temps 79 & 82 C.

No. Temperature control was a feature with limited application, and was never enabled by default. You can safely ignore the message.
Are you using the latest client? ISTR that the message had been removed, but I may be wrong.

The message is actually coming from the folding core, it is on the list for being removed. But the code for the GPU core started out with that there, and just hasn't been pulled from it yet.
