Hi,

I'm back on folding after a loooooong break. And on a new PC.

The problem; it does not start on idle! What to do, how to fix?

Look in Advanced Control. What is the log saying?

Maybe it is running... I just dont hear my fan starting. When folding while I work, the fan goes balistic!

There is a begin the installer that sometimes sets the request for the very first WU to be for just one CPU thread. Once downloaded that WU will never use more threads. So what is showing is that WU processing on a single core of your CPU, hence the lack of fan noise. It was up to 61%, once it completes and downloads another WU, the next one will use as many threads as are set at the time of the download.

Set on Full that will be 4, Medium 3, and 2 on Light. You can run a WU at fewer threads than are set at download time, but not higher.
