Computer Specs:
-CPU(s):
(2) Xeon E5 2690 V4, 28 cores / 56 Threads (total)
-RAM:
128 GB
-GPU(s):
NVIDIA 2080 TI
NVIDIA 1080 TI
-OS
Windows 10 Pro
-Network Connection
Verizon Fios
-Overclocked:
No
-Stable
Yes
-Client:
FAH 7.5.1

Yes, the client can use more than 32 cores, but not on Windows.

D'oh, well locked into Windows on this machine, thanks!

I meant to say on one WU, but forgot to write that. Some with larger servers running Windows will set up two slots that use more of the cores together. If you do, you need to set them up with specific settings for CPU thread usage instead of leaving it at the default which leaves usage up to the software.

Usable thread counts will be multiples of 2, 3 and sometimes 5. Multiples of prime numbers 7 and greater are not good.

So if I'm reading this correctly, if I changed the "0" Folding slot (CPU) to lets say 20 cores and add a second CPU Folding slot of 32 cores that should come close to maxing out the available CPU resources (x2 CPU's, 14 cores per CPU, 28 Threads).

Thanks BTW, and seems all of the new "Folders" like me are resulting in little work left to be done, keep waiting for more assignments.

Yes, that sounds about right.
