Hi,
i'm new to this Projekt.
i'm wondering, that i didnt get any WU for 2 Days now ..
Any Ideas?

The servers are currently flooded due to the massive number of new users and new interest in F@h. There have been tweets about F@h's research in COVID-19 and about 30 news articles. As a result of all of this, the larger userbase has consumed all the available workunits in the queue. The research teams are currently scrambling to set up new servers and add more into the queue to keep up with demand. I suggest leaving everything running as it will pick up work when it becomes available.

Yes . It trys to get work and there is no work to do

They are automatically generated by the backend servers. Each workunit is a small slice of the overall simulation of how the protein misfolds or how the molecules interact. You may see that each workunit has a "PRCG" label of numbers in the format "Project (Run, Clone, Generation)". Each project is a study of a particular protein or event of interest to the research teams. The run and clone numbers are branches of the simulation, different sequences under different conditions. The final generation number is the sequential bit. I might have finished generation 10, you finished generation 11, someone else does 12, and so on. There are many Projects under study at the moment, each of those has many Runs and Clones as they try to see a larger map of the interactions that can happen, and each of those are processed sequentially. So when someone else finishes a workunit for a particular Project-Run-Clone group, a new workunit is generated into the queue.

In the meantime, there are so many new users that the teams are having to add more Projects to keep up with the demand.

This is due to the very high demand that F@h is experiencing at the moment. Currently there is more demand for workunits than workunits available in the queue. The teams are spinning up new servers and adding new projects (including COVID-19 work) to keep up. viewtopic.php?f=61&t=32424

Keep everything on and running, it will pick up work as soon as its available.

One clarification to Jesse_V's good post about the PRCG numbers. If you complete Get:10, when it is returned the server creates Gen:11 to assign to someone. And that continues until hey get enough Gen's for that particular path through the simulation.
