When I'm folding my GPU hits about 44 percent and I can hear my fans running after a few minutes my computer screens go blue really quickly and flashes "Loading" with a little spinner and then my monitors lose connection as my computer starts going to sleep. The fan runs for a minute more and then the computer is asleep. My power settings are set to not allow my computer to go to sleep, and this does not occur if I'm not folding.

I'm running Windows 10
Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.8 GHz
16.0 GB DDR4-2400 RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX1070 utilizing the latest studio driver

"sleep" is a function of your OS. (You do understand that can disable that setting)

Maybe FAH is causing your computer to crash ... like if it's exceeding the capability of your power supply or overheating due to cooling limitations. Most modern computers will shut themselves down to prevent damage from run-away overheating. FAH is designed to use ALL available resources, and computers SHOULD be designed to run continuously at 100% utilization, but not all computers designers anticipate that condition (i.e. are not well designed or have been upgraded without considering that situation).

Post your log and we'll see what we can to reduce FAH's use of your computer resources.

New here as well, but I seem to remember that there was an option for enabling a screen saver during installation; could this be a culprit?

On the client? Maybe. I don't remember that on the server.

Assuming I got the client when downloading for win10? But yes, it did at least install a screensaver for me (found in the screensaver list, called "Fahscreensaver"), though I disabled it during installation.

I'm a long time personal computer builder, one of the things that I have learned over the decades is that all the difference in the world can be made by having a good PSU. Issues are usually exposed when the system is put under heavy stress. If you don't like the idea of attempting to get a better (and probably higher wattage) PSU, you can try a test of severely limiting how fast your GPU clocks to, IE downrate substantially. If that fixes the issue then bring it up gradually until you have the issue again.

This also assumes that you don't have heat issues which are common. You will want to find and use a GPU stress test software for this. You should also stress test your CPU while you are at it.
