Hey,
I'm new here. I just downloaded the software and I was excited at the idea of seeing my computer folding some proteins!
But instead, the web control shows no movement and the 3D visualization just stays on demo.
Is it because we ran out of WU and we have to wait for more? Or is it on my end?
Here's a screenshot of my web control panel: https://prnt.sc/rh90x8
Thanks and keep up the good work.

Re: Ready but not working
on the left side of Client Advanced Control I see the Clients:
local | Online | 127.0.0.1:36330
is that right?
Also, on the Web Control my page keeps refreshing, is this supposed to be happening?

Re: Ready but not working
The Web Control constantly refreshing is an issue with Chrome and recent versions of Opera, Google made some changes a few revisions back that cause this.
You can try Incognito mode, someone posted that worked. Otherwise Firefox and Edge are reported to work with Web Control.

Chrome with Incognito mode worked!
What about the setup that I posted? Is that right? I didn't have any progress yet. Not sure if it's because of the outage

I also just signed up also I've had my laptop open and plugged in all night, I have it on high and even on "while Im working' and its showing 0 for everything, after the drop down box for what diseases youd like to support there is another box that says "loading" but its been like that since yesterday.
Have I installed something wrong or are my laptop setting potentially keeping it from working?

Both your described setups look okay from here. The response to the social media and other postings has been overwhelming, the servers are providing work as fast as they can. The researchers are working to get more resources online to handle the load.acytryn wrote:What about the setup that I posted? Is that right? I didn't have any progress yet. If you don' get work assignments eventually, you can post he first 200 lines of your log files here and we can take a closer look at your setup. Directions on finding your log and posting are in the Welcome topic.

Yes. That indicates that FAHControl is managing the copy of FAHControl that's on the same computer ... essentially through a loop-back connection.acytryn wrote:on the left side of Client Advanced Control I see the Clients:

If you configure FAHControl to manage other copies of FAHClient running on your LAN, you'll see the other computers there. (Setting that up is an advanced topic)
