How do I join a team

Noobie here. I saw in another thread that TOM'S HARDWARE TEAM is 40051 so I joined that.
In the olden days (back after SETI@Home circa 2002 or so) there was a list of teams to join.
Cannot find anything similar: when I search forum for TEAM no results come back because the search is not specific enough. When I search for "join a team" I see all threads with join or all threads with "a" = YIKES!
Question: If I wanted to join a team from Canada or Nova Scotia or Yamaha motorcycles... how would I do that?
Thanks

Extreme Overclockers have a stats site, look here:
https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com ... ist.php?s=
BTW this is where I get my stats in my signature from.

Thanks your reply helped a lot
QUESTION: do you post the stats in your signature manually or is there some wizard code you add that does it all automagically?

Well Nathan my first and second attempts were failures
When I tried adding "
" To my signature RED text appeared at the top of the signature page saying <<It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.>> and the new signature would not save.

Interesting when I added the text ""
"" to the forum post it translated it into the stats box

hmm, its been years since I added my signature so the details have long since been lost to the sands of time, having just looked in user control panel my text looks like this

When I just type this string into my signature line:
https:(no blank here)//folding.extremeoverclocking.com/sigs/sigimage.php?un=BillAnderson&t=223518
and notice that no signature gets added at all even the text that is supposed to be above this line

I've taken out the [/img] at the end of the link so you can see the text, add the[/img] at the end of the below and edit to match your EOC user id

I was making the classic programming error of typing in the
codes instead of using the token buttons above the chatbox.
so I copied url that displayed the stats box:
text with spaces added = https : // folding . extremeoverclocking . com /sigs /sigimage . php? u = 866210
text only:
https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com ... p?u=866210
text with img typed in:
text with token:
So based on the preview in the body of the message it doesn't matter if I type in [img] or use the token buttons the stats box appears but when editing the signature in the profile, if I type in [img] I get the image size cannot be determined error and cannot save the signature, but if I use the tokens I can save it but the signature does not include the stats box
My next step: When I quoted your message your stats box in the body of the message resolved into the text that you had pasted there. So because it resolved in your message and it resolves in your signature to both show your stats box I am going to try copy/paste/edit to see if your text works in my signature.

It should work, see how you get on and if you have any problems report back

The "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image" error is a known problem that's been around for a while. One of the forum mods said recently that they're looking into upgrading the forum software, so I suspect they'll do that first - maybe the upgrade will fix the problem.

Dumb question, how often does this crawl? My team (created 2 days ago) isn't showing... I get a homer :-p
