Just jumped back in to fight coronavirus 8-) 8-) 8-)

But it seems there's no work to do? Only my CPU is folding.

It may not be obvious,, but actual scientists have to make Work Units become available. They look at the actual results we turned in, and decide what new results they need based on our work. They have gotten a feel for how many they need to generate to stay ahead of us.

Now they have a wonderful problem. Many more people signed up to fold in the last 2 weeks. This is frustrating for us, as we want there to be an infinite amount of work to run up our Points Per Day and we plain hope to do good for mankind. I am sure it is frustrating for them not to be able to sleep though the night without running dry. I suspect Little Shop of Horrors is in their nightmares: Feed Me Seymour! We want fresh WUs!

If, as I suspect, we get more volunteers next week and the next, they are going to have a continuing problem deciding how many WUs we need. What a great problem to have!

I suspect that whiners threatening to take their ball and go home have convinced the researchers to only offer COVID-19 WUs for folding. I hope in time the other researchers add their projects back in, as I am content to cure cancer or influenza, it does not have to be COVID-19 WUs for me. I just want my PCs to do good work.

Everything is working properly? Very good. I expected *some* GPU workload from at least one field of research. When this happens maybe we need some failover system to put that idle power on other scientific projects

I saw nothing wrong with your configuration, perhaps some one else will notice improvements.

Sadly some VERY vocal whiners have objected to curing cancer with their idle CPU cycles, they want nothing but COVID-19.

Given time, I hope F@H just offers to show them the door, and does all the good work they can do.

Sounds like an easy fix, make category multiple choice like checkboxes instead of a drop down and add infectious disease to it

Unable to acquire WU for this configuration - Server is not responding, Server is Unavailable, etc. on my end. This is a communication problem with the various WU servers for GPUs.

Same boat for me, i came back to help with Covid, but I will happily grind away on any other WU's that are there as well, points are an after thought, i pay for power and such now, but i can help out here and there when i can at least.

Wow, people whining about what they help to find data for? By all means, ditch them, they clearly are soley in this for the points, selfish p*****.
