AMD R7 240 Compatibility

My system consists of an Intel Core 2 Duo E4300 and an AMD R7 240. It's also running a 32-bit version of Windows 10. For some reason, FAH won't let me fold using the GPU. I know that this is a pretty weak system, but I should be able to at least start folding. FAH recognizes the GPU and supposedly assigns it a work unit, but it never starts folding.

I've tried reinstalling FAH, reinstalling the graphics card and messing around with the settings, but nothing seems to work. Is the R7-240 even compatible with FAH? Does it have something to do with OpenCL? What am I missing?

Welcome to the folding support forum.

You need a 64-bit version of Windows to do GPU folding these days. Both AMD and nVidia have been removing support for OpenCL GPU computing from their 32-bit drivers or dropping 32-bit drivers altogether going forward. F@h has also gone to just 64-bit GPU folding cores.

As for the R7 240, it should be usable with F@h, and it is listed as supporting both single and double precision calculations. No idea how fast it would be though.
