Can anyone assist?
I just installed a Palit Geforx GTX1050 card in my machine.

Looking through the forums they say that this card should get me approx 130K PPD
It's currently running at 35K PPD, so I'm getting about 1/4 of what I'm expecting.

Box:
CPU is AMD FX-8350 eight core @ 4GHZ per core
Running Ubuntu 16.04

GPU:
Nvidia driver is 384.130
Clock says it's running at 1721MHZ
It's in auto mode

Did you set a passkey yet? It may take some time until the PPD settles in.

no,not set a passkey. Does that make a difference? I never set one before when I was just CPU folding.

Setting a passkey and then completing 10 WU is an important step in earning higher points.

Okay, I've done that now.
I did finally find this page: viewtopic.php?p=261088&f=24#p261088

I wonder how many people like me either failed to see that at all, or didnt get as far as section 9.
Also, the bit about the Nacl client in Chrome is really important.

I realise this is going off topic, maybe we should PM each other .
