Seems to be working so far on my 1080 + 1080 Ti build. Not sure how it's affecting PPD though. It seems to pull about the same as all other drivers that support the 1080 Ti.

The only issue with nvidia drivers later than 373.06 and including 381.65 is the PPD is slightly lower.

Now I got an issue with this driver on my GTX 970 using Windows 7 64bit: It does not hold the highest boost state but goes down to a low P2 state or something after some minutes having GPU clock 1150 instead of 1340. GPU usage is still 93% but power usage and temperature goes down and the TPF goes up from 1:35 to 1:52 for the same work unit and with different projects. It happens right after reboot of PC so nothing else is disturbing and going back to driver 378.72 solves the problem.
Edit: Looks like it was only with some projects I got and the problem is "GPU no load limit" which downclocks the GPU.
Now with another project everything is running at full speed again with this driver.

Unfortunately my latest card will only run with the latest driver.

I installed 382.53 this morning (for some GTX 7xx/9xx GPUs) and everything seems to be working fine.
The general recommendation is to run the latest at the time you install drivers, but don't update unless there's something specific in a newer version that you need.

I'm checking every day for a 64 bit Linux driver for the 1080 TI without the hot fix. Why are they taking so long?

I installed 382.53 and 1080 Ti is folding 11431 (7, 20, 98) at 1,195,387. Seems fine but if there's an earlier version that folds faster I'd like to try it.

I was using 381.65, but it was giving me the topography message in my logs. I updated to 381.89, and haven't seen it since.
