OSX Points seem incorrect

I'm an old FAH user, returning this time with a couple MACs. I notice that actual points awarded are typically only a fraction of the estimated points - perhaps 20-25%. Is there a known issue, or are these things just that slow? Following is recent work unit completion where the estimate was 2613 points, while actual points awarded were only ~400-500.

06:18:53:WU00:FS00:Upload 97.62%
06:18:56:WU00:FS00:Upload complete
06:18:58:WU00:FS00:Server responded WORK_ACK (400)
06:18:58:WU00:FS00:Final credit estimate, 2613.00 points
06:18:58:WU00:FS00:Cleaning up
06:33:34:WU01:FS00:0xa4:Completed 12500 out of 1250000 steps (1%)

Welcome to the folding support forum.

The estimated points shown in the log will be based on whether or not you have a passkey entered into the client, and the elapsed time it took to process and return the WU. In the case of a passkey being present, the client can not determine whether it has been qualified yet for the Quick Return Bonus. If it has not yet been qualified, the actual point credited will just be the base points for the WU.

It takes completing 10 WU's with a specific username and passkey combination before QRB points are awarded. After that an 80% completion rate needs to be maintained to keep the passkey qualified.
