Folding with a >32 thread system

I've got a couple of servers here, which have more than 32 threads available. Is there any way they can do any reasonable work without running many instances of F@H at the same time?

My 2x 10c/20t setup is currently running multiple NaCl instances, which is OK, but I'd like to know what options there are for this kind of computers.

download the latest beta version of the client, there are some A7 WU in testing that like more than 24 threads but you will still get some <24 thread A4 units. I'm in a similar situation with 2 of my old BA rigs - but A7 supply is still not guaranteed so I'm waiting before firing mine back up

When you say "many instances of F@H" it sounds like you're running V6. If you're running V7, then one instance is sufficient, but with several slots. (That might be what you meant.)

I didn't think of adding more CPU slots, to be honest. When running NaCl I have like 4 Chrome profiles that get loaded at startup.

Oh, now what you said makes more sense. I didn't think you were talking about the Chrome client.

The standard client can be installed on Windows / Linux / MacOS-X. It runs without using a browser.

The beat version of the latest client (available here) resolves a few of the limitations of the version that can be downloaded from that link.
