But anyway... we've broken 300,000 active CPUs ... but lost 8,000 PS3s and so are back below 2PF

That's not accurate at the moment... Whenever Stanford manually credits WUs to people, these entries show up as a new CPU in that person's stats. Such a correction was done this weekend for a GPU2 client bug. The actual figure for Windows machines is around 188,000.
