Hey everyone.

The very first finsihed WU from my part just won´t upload.

All other finished WU are uploaded without any kind of trouble.

Below is a copy of a part of my log today.

Please help. I don´t know why this WU does not upload or how to fix it. It is a tiny little bit annoying

Welcome to the folding support forum.

Unfortunately there is currently a problem with the Work Server your client is attempting to return the WU to, and due to that problem the Collection Server also can not accept the WU. See this topic - viewtopic.php?f=18&t=28660.

The manager for that server is aware of the problem and has posted that it was being worked on. If the server is fixed before the WU's timeout expires, your client should upload it. Otherwise it will clear the WU out after the expiration time is reached.

Thank you for your kind and helpful reply. I imagined the problem was due to it being my very first completed WU and not the server.
Thank you for explaining it to me.
I did, however, try to search for server problems before posting my question. But I didn´t find any server problems.
How did you find out about the server´s state?

Hey all,
Projects 9205-9213 will temporarily not be accepting any work requests due to the WS running out of space. I am currently trying to resolve this and and will update you as soon as this is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

If not, the most important information can be found by following the Server Status link at the top of this page -- which provides a lot of information regarding all of the servers.

You'll always need to search for TWO IP addresses which will appear in your log. There are THREE kinds of servers. WUs are delivered from what we call a WORK Server and eventually must be returned there. If, for some reason, the WU cannot be returned to the WORK Server, the client will attempt to upload the WU to a Collection Server which often is able to forward the WU to the WORK Server.

The third type of server is an ASSIGNMENT Server which is initially contacted when your client needs more work. This server does not deliver a new WU, but rather attempts to find an appropriate Work Server which is able to deliver a new WU which can be processed by your system's configuration.
