We attempted to switch assign3.stanford.edu to a new server today. Something went wrong on the DNS side and the assign3 has been down for an hour or two. Folding client's should automatically fallback to assign4.stanford.edu, our backup AS. The DNS mapping has been corrected. The change should propagate to all the servers with in an hour at which point everything should be back to normal.

It looks like the problem is worse than I first thought. The client software is not falling back to the backup AS as it should. I'm correcting the client software now. This update will be in the next release.

Note, that fah.stanford.edu is also down for a brief maintenance. It's getting new memory. It should be back up with in the hour.

assign3.stanford.edu and fah.stanford.edu are both back up.
