How about a simple delayed start up for FAH

I just use the plain FAH client 7.4.4 for Windows on my home PC, which is usually started with the aim of checking emails and opening a batch of favourite forums and sites. Once all the applications are up and running and LAN internet access is settled as part of start up then I have no concern with FAH running at full pelt in the background. But FAH is in the start menu, and very noticeably delays the loading of the other main applications I want to initially get going pronto.

Wouldn't it be great to have a simple FAH delayed start option of eg a minute or two after PC start :!:

I have found that Windows starts apps in the Startup menu in alphabetical order. I believe the All Users Startup menu is executed before your individual [username] Startup as well. Move your F@H shortcut to the Startup menu under your username, and put a leading Z in the shortcut name. Move the apps you want running first to the All Users Startup menu, and put a leading 0 (zero) in their names.

If you do only CPU Folding, I believe you can use the "run as a service" option, and set the Service properties for delayed start.
