Core 0x18 on Linux systems

Is anyone running Linux and getting FAH Core 0x18 WUs in addition to 0x17 cores?
I am running win 7 and getting mostly 0x15 and 0x16 now on 660ti and R9 290 rigs. Seems like a real waste of computing power and am considering switching to Linux to improve performance. While I know they all need solving, I am hooked on performance mainly because of my investment in the higher performing cards. (it's a sickness)
Well my apologizes........ it seems someone else asked the question also. Sorry.

There is no core 18 for linux ... yet. If you're folding with a GPU in Linux you will get core 17 projects for either nvidia or AMD/ATI.

Please post the segments of your log showing your system configuration (top couple of pages) plus the assignment of a new WU to each of those GPUs.

Thanks Bruce & bollix47.
Last year I switched to Linux for a good while in order to maximize production but switched back to Win 7 (for the seti challenge, a mainly windows world). Now that I am back folding I was just considering if it was worth it to go back to Linux because of the variability of credits with windows. Especially when my R9 290 gets a 11293 (15, 389, 48) wu for Fahcore 0x16 for a whopping 2586 PPD. : )
If there are no 0x18 wus for Linux yet that answers my question. I will just stay with Win 7 for a while and see how things develop.

In looking at the log I see only a couple of core 16 wu's. If I had not looked when I did I probably would not have known I had a core 16 wu. This GPU is getting mostly core 17 wu's.
Ok here is what I think you are asking for from the log:

One of my 780ti cards was assigned a Core 18 project in Linux. I am running client-type advanced. I have two 780ti's in this computer, so deleting the slot would not work because the client will just reassign the unit to the other 780ti.

This is the second time this has happened recently. The previous time was on a different Linux machine running dual 670's. I don't think I have the log file for that one anymore.

@valvehead, you might want to remove the password in your copy of config here in the open; and why you have slot-specific passkeys ?
Regarding core 18 for linux still seems a glitch in new AS; I didn't see for quite some days on my box (GTX 780, ubuntu)

Thanks. I missed that part. Edited.

I'm only using one passkey at the moment. In the past I used a different passkey on one of my GPU's for the Team Competition at OCN.

Found my Ubuntu 12.04 LTS system attempting to download core18. Endless attempts to download core was terminated by deleting the GPU slot with FAHControl, and then adding it back. Was immediately assigned 9201.

OK, I have fixed the Linux assignment issue. Sorry about that!

140.163.4.234 assigned project 10476 run 0 clone 156 gen 26 to one of my gtx 780's this morning. this is not an isolated incidence as it is happening at lest once a day. thank you for your time.
Mod edit: merged with existing topic as it appears you are using Linux

True.
Those who are recommending the deletion of the GPU slot as a method of dumping the WU didn't consider those who have more than one GPU of the same type. In your case, you'd need to delete and later re-add both slots, which would delete the WUs enqueued on BOTH slots. [You probably don't want to do that.]
The other two known methods are to note the number of the WU [WU
nn] you want to dump (generally NOT the same as the slot number [FS
kk]) and deleting that specific WU. That can be done either by starting FAHClient with the command line string
-delete nn or by deleting the subdirectory
\nn which is inside of \work and restarting the client.
