Hello
I have some old GPUs (on PCI not PCIe). Can I use them for folding? Is there any list of GPUs that are useful and useless?

The list of supported GPUs and a few formerly supported GPUs can be found here:
https://fah-web.stanford.edu/file-relea ... c/GPUs.txt
Ignore the first two items on each line. Unsupported GPUs have three colons in a row (:::) preceding the name whereas supported ones have numbers between them. Those which were never supported just are not on the list.
Right now there's a problem with assignments for some of the NVidia GPUs older than Fermi/Kepler/Maxwell -- commonly called G80 GPUs, but also including the G9x series and the 2xx series. It's not clear what's going to happen to them.
Very few PCI based GPUs are supported, mainly because the drivers don't support the necessary APIs required for stream computing and the hardware just wasn't designed for it.

The install guides on the fah web also include a requirements section that give a general description of what is needed to fold with a GPU.
