Screensaver not working

My screensaver (any screensavers, not just the fah screensaver) stopped working after I installed fah v. 7.3.6. As soon as I turn off fah, the screensaver works normally. I have fah % CPU usage set to 100% on a Windows XP machine. I hope I just have overlooked something obvious. However, any or all help is appreciated. Thanks much.

how old is your system? running XP could mean 10+ years. which if your trying to run nice looking screensavers while running this software its not going to look good at all cuz your CPU is being used at 100% so there for if its a nice screen saver their is no CPU to share with the screen saver. i just turn mine to BLANK and turn my monitor off. also i normally only run this when i go to bed.. just something to think about

Welcome to the F@H Forum DanTerzian,
Can you please provide us with the log file which contains the system configuration and F@H settings (viewtopic.php?p=225958#p225958)?

You might try setting disable-sleep-when-active to the value false in the expert Extra Client Options. This setting should not be used if you fold with a GPU but since you do not have a supported GPU, that shouldn't be a problem. I've never tried it with WindowsXP so it may do nothing, but it might allow WinXP to bring up a screensaver if you really want one.
As has already been explained, avoid those with exotic moving graphics since they have to be calculated with the same CPUs that could be used for folding.

Thanks for the suggestion. But it had no effect, good or bad. Its not a big deal, but it does annoy me.
