New member with a few questions

Hello,

Just a few questions for a new member here.

- Is there a list that we can access that shows all of the projects we have contributed to? I just finished my first upload (not sure what the appropriate term is here) for project 6347 and checked out the details behind the specific project. However, when i began my next project the previous one disappeared. If i finish a few projects while i'm away i'm worried i may miss a few of the projects i have contributed to.

- I am currently an undergrad student at The College of New Jersey looking to go into the medical field. What are the restrictions, if any, on referencing a contribution to this project? Going back to my first question i would love to compile a nice list of the projects that i have contributed to and stay up to date with them to check on the progress.

I just wanted to say that wow what an absolutely ingenious idea this whole project is! Unfortunately my computer is not the strongest but i will contribute as much as i possibly can. I am also looking into turning my school onto this idea and am welcome to any ideas as to who or how i can pitch them the idea to get involved! I cannot even begin to imagine the impact if this really catches fire and everyone contributes here and there as much as they can.

Thanks for all the help!

Hello Kyle,

Welcome to the world of folding ... Just a warning: it can be very addictive ;-) which is good in this case though.

As for your question: there is not really a standard list with the history of your projects. But don't worry, there is solution too. FAHClient write log files where you could track all WU your computer worked on with some details, timing information and also credit estimations. There is the FAHControl application in standard installation from F@H able to show the latest log file. Now you might don't want to waste your time search those files by hand. There are 3rd party tools around collecting those information for you (like HFM). [selfcommercial]also my iPad app will soon have some import function and increased reporting[/selfcommercial].

Once you have a list of the projects you contributed to you can always find the project description retrospective via the "Project summary" link above, in column "description".

Don't worry if your computer is not the strongest one; every finished work unit is valuable and counts.
