One of my machines will not connect to the work severs.

Have tried the following so far

Restarted the client
Rebooted the machine
swapped ports on the switch
switched client from -bigadv to -smp

The machine will connect to the rest of the internet fine and I can get it to pull up the OK message from the AS in a firefox window.

Machine is a dedicated 24/7 folder running Ubuntu 12:04, v6 client

Code: Select all

Assuming that it is v6.34 (latest v6 version), how about the following:

Delete the userinfo.dat (or some other files which will make your client a "new" one)
Change the max packet size from big to small to see if any difference is there

According to the Server Status, all SMP Servers are fully functional with the exception of 2 Servers (171.64.65.54, 171.67.108.35). Moreover, there is another Server (128.143.199.96) which is having a high CPU load.

deleting machinedependant.dat, queue.dat and myfolding.txt cleared the problem

Thx

Other persons using V6 who have experienced this issue have fixed it by deleting just the queue.dat file and then restarting the client.
