Got a question on sending the WU over. Keep getting this warning message when I start/resume the WU:
19:45:58:WU00:FS01:0xa3:Verified 00/wudata_01.log
19:45:58:WU00:FS01:0xa3:Verified 00/wudata_01.trr

19:46:51:WARNING:Exception: 8:127.0.0.1: Send error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
And this appeared at the end of the log (from previous WUs):

Is that mean the WU didn't send out to the receiving server?
My current work server is 128.143.231.202, and the collection server is 128.143.199.97

From the log, the work unit was not successfully sent. Neither of the servers seem to be having issues.

(Every project belongs to a specific Work Server, so the information about 128.143.231.202 and 128.143.199.97 doesn't relate to the problem you're reporting.)
Project:10450 needs to be returned to 171.64.65.81 or to the collection server associated with that project and apparently that failed. The message "All slots are done, exiting" seems to indicate that the client decided to shut down even though an upload was in progress so the upload was apparently not completed.
1) If the transfer failed, the WU should still be saved in the client so it will try again.
2) I'm not familiar with the "all slots are done" message. Are you running the current V7.3.6 client, which generally uses the word "Finish" and which doesn't shut down until the upload is completed? If so, what setting did you use to get the "exiting" message?

Welcome to the F@H Forum ycfong,
Please note that it would help us if you posted the initial section of the F@H log which contains the information about your system and the way F@H is configured (viewtopic.php?f=61&t=16206&p=225958#p225958).

If you're referring to this:
20:09:35:WARNING:Exception: 8:127.0.0.1: Send error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
20:09:41:WARNING:Exception: 57:127.0.0.1: Send error: 10053: An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine.
There is nothing to be concerned about. Whenever WEBControl is shut down that message will appear in the log ... not an error ... just a warning.

This will be fixed when the next client version is released. See

Ah ... so that actually mean the client closed the connection. The wording sounds scary indeed

No, it means the browser closed the connection forcing the client to drop its end of the connection. The client doesn't need to report that communications error since it means nothing to anybody.
