There are a lot of descriptions not given because they are new...

For example the SMP and GPU2 ones.

Because I am folding for month's the SMP's now, I am was only wondering what it is exactly that I'm folding?

Thanks :)

I assume this will get done when they get those clients out of the beta stage (they are very busy).

yeah the beta's not that discriptive. Betas are just desgined to make sure it's possible. In this case smp computing. Which right now is only successful in quad-core form. Not eight-core.

I've reminded the people running these projects to add a description. These are betas, but I agree we should say something.

I'm curious as to what the evil p2665 is about.

what do you mean p2665? You mean project 2665 if so, it's about IBX being in water whatever that is.

p2665 is exactly the same as 2665, or Project 2665. p is short for Project. r=Run, c=Clone, g=Gen a.k.a. PRCG = complete WU descriptor. http://fahwiki.net/index.php/Runs,_Clones_and_Gens

I believe Mobius here was requesting for 2665's project description. IBX in water is the name of the project.

It won't say. This is as far as I get. If you type the number you'll find there is nothing.

I've emailed Peter Kasson to remind him about this. He's at a developer's meeting, so it may take him a few days to get to this.

IBX is 2-Iodoxybenzoic acid. It will oxidize an alcohol to an aldehyde, among other things.

Don't ask me why you'd want to put IBX in water, I'm not an organic chemist.

I'm against anything that will oxidize my alcohol. No more 2665's for me, thank you.

I've put up some descriptions for SMP and GPU2 projects that I should have put up months ago ...

3000-3099 SMP
5000-5099 GPU2
5200-5299 GPU2

If there's still anything missing that would be interesting, please do not hesitate to say so. And questions are always good -- I do like to talk about my research!

The evil  p2665 remains a mystery.
