i had a version that stayed in the taskbar and allowed me to view the particle while it was forming. i had to uninstall that and now went back to the folding home site and downloaded the windows version (which i thought would be the same) but when i start folding home it goes to the folding home website and it shows folding solt #4 (i want all 4 cores to work with the program like i had on my old client before it stoped running. I want the one that has the client program not the website.

You might just need to move the slider to Full but to be sure please post the System Info and Config sections of your log as explained
here.
What you are describing sounds like the new WebControl software which opens a tab in your browser that shows what you are folding. It's a local page and can be closed without affecting the client. You can also move the slider to Full on that page.

Close the web page and look at the system tray. Fah still has an icon in the tray. Click it and select adv control. This is the screen you are looking for in this newer version of fah.

If you need the old version you can
download v6 console client. Don't forget to uninstall v7 before installing v6.
I assure you that v7 is capable of running in the taskbar as a console program too. The install does not automatically configure it that way but I'm willing to help you through that process, if you are interested, but from the tone of your previous posts I don't think you are.
