Setting CPU usage at 25% only interferes with proper operation. It only works properly on old uniprocessor WU's which with multiple CPU cores you will not get. Leave the slider at 100%. If you want CPU folding to run at less than 100% then change the number of threads used in the CPU slot instead.
OK, I set the CPU slider to 100%. Not sure how it was at 25% since I hadn't changed that setting before.P5-133XL wrote:It is not a task manager setting rather You have modified a folding setting (Advanced control->configure->advanced tab->CPU slider needs to be at 100% rather than 25%).
Yes, you should set the CPU slot to use at most 5 threads (for a 6 core CPU) because the ATI card needs a full CPU core to operate. You may choose to set the CPU threads even lower in place of the above CPU slider.
